Our Mission

Why we teach public speaking

We want to empower underprivileged communities through the transformative power of public speaking. We are a non-profit that believes effective communication is a fundamental life skill, as it will open doors, bridge gaps, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Through our programs, students develop life-long skills that serve them far beyond the classroom, learning to speak with confidence, connect with others, and advocate for themselves and their communities.

What We Offer

Our Approach

Every program is built around three core outcomes that stay with students long after the lesson ends.

Students engaged in a classroom session

Life-Long Skills

Students learn the fundamentals of public speaking, from structuring an argument to owning the room. These are skills that translate directly into academic success, job interviews, and everyday leadership.

Obtaining Confidence

Through practice, feedback, and encouragement, students discover their voice. We create safe, supportive spaces where even the most hesitant speakers learn to stand tall and speak with conviction.

Building Connections

Great communication opens doors to new relationships. Students connect with peers, mentors, and community leaders, building networks that support their growth for years to come.

Our Story

About Us

Speaking Solution was founded on the belief that every student deserves the chance to find their voice. What started as a grassroots effort to bring public speaking education to underserved communities has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit, reaching 500+ students across 12+ locations.

We've been recognized as 1 of 75 national youth changemakers at the Allstate Foundation National Youth Service Summit, named as Riley's Way Senior Fellows, and been awarded the Call for Kindness Education Equity Grant. Our work has been featured on the Small Acts Big Impacts podcast with Natalie Silverstein, and we've presented to 400+ students at the JSA Conference.
